Aave V4 launches on Ethereum mainnet

Aave V4 has officially rolled out on the Ethereum mainnet, introducing a novel 'hub-and-spoke' architecture after more than two years of development. This fundamental reshaping of the decentralized lending protocol allows for greater flexibility in creating new lending markets. Aave's hubs will serve as concentrated liquidity sources, enabling various financial markets to access funds while spokes can maintain independent risk parameters and borrowing environments. CEO Stani Kulechov stated the goal is to focus on the borrow side, driving demand by channeling on-chain liquidity back into the real economy.
