Android XR gets five new immersive features
Google Blog·
Android XR is introducing five new features aimed at enhancing the immersive experience for headset users. These updates include the ability to transform 2D apps and content into 3D experiences using auto-spatialization, expanding the library of XR-native apps, and allowing users to pin applications to physical walls for a persistent workspace. Additionally, users can now see their real hands interacting with virtual content for more natural interactions, and sessions will automatically restore to the last state, making it easier to resume activities. These enhancements are rolling out to Samsung Galaxy XR headsets, with enterprise support also included.
