Artemis II astronauts return to Earth

The Artemis II crew is returning to Earth after a nine-day mission, having traveled farther from our planet than any humans before. Commander Reid Wiseman, Pilot Victor Glover, Mission Specialist Christina Koch, and Canadian Astronaut Jeremy Hansen are expected to splash down in the Pacific Ocean on April 10th. The Orion capsule will make a high-speed re-entry, with Navy recovery crews on standby to assist the astronauts aboard the USS John P. Murtha for immediate medical checks before their return to land.
