AWS WAF Monetizes AI Bot Traffic

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has introduced a new capability within AWS WAF called AI traffic monetization. This feature allows content owners and publishers to effectively charge AI bots and agents for accessing their digital content and APIs. Publishers can now set specific prices for this access, integrate with third-party payment processors, and manage access permissions directly at the network edge. This move aims to provide a revenue stream for content creators by monetizing the increasing demand from AI models for data.
