BlackRock launches income-generating Bitcoin ETF

BlackRock has introduced the iShares Bitcoin Premium Income ETF (BITA), a new investment vehicle designed to offer bitcoin exposure alongside income generation. The fund achieves this by holding bitcoin directly and through shares of its existing iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT). BITA strategically sells call options on a portion of its IBIT holdings, aiming to generate monthly income for investors.
