Bluesky introduces communities for focused user interaction

Bluesky is set to launch 'communities' this year, enabling users to create and join smaller, focused spaces for deeper engagement around shared interests. These communities will leverage the AT Protocol, the decentralized technology underpinning Bluesky. Product head Alex Benzer described this as a new structure for the AT Protocol ecosystem, referred to as 'Atmosphere.' Core functionalities will allow users to create, join, post within, and receive updates from these communities, aiming to enhance user experience by providing more tailored interaction spaces.
