BYD to install thousands of EV chargers Europe

Chinese EV maker BYD is accelerating its European expansion by deploying 3,000 high-speed Flash Chargers across the continent by the end of next year. The company has already begun installations in Germany and the UK. These new 1,500kW charging stations are considerably more powerful than Tesla's current offerings, though Tesla maintains a larger existing network. This ambitious rollout represents a significant investment, estimated to be around $2 billion, underscoring BYD's commitment to capturing a larger share of the European electric vehicle market.
