Cantor Fitzgerald donates $10 million to crypto PAC
The Block·
Cantor Fitzgerald, a Wall Street firm now run by the sons of U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, has donated $10 million to the Fellowship PAC. This super political action committee supports pro-crypto candidates, with the donation made in February. The firm has maintained close ties with Tether, the largest stablecoin issuer, since 2021, when Cantor Fitzgerald began acting as a custodian for Tether's reserves. These connections have previously drawn scrutiny from lawmakers, particularly during Lutnick's Senate confirmation hearing.
