Cloudflare speeds up AI agent sandboxing

Cloudflare has introduced a new Dynamic Worker Loader API, now in open beta, designed to significantly accelerate the sandboxing of AI agents. This feature allows Cloudflare Workers to instantiate new, isolated Workers on-the-fly with code generated by AI, offering a much faster and more memory-efficient alternative to traditional container-based sandboxes. By leveraging Cloudflare's existing isolate technology, which powers the Workers platform, the new loader can start a sandbox in milliseconds with minimal memory usage, achieving speeds up to 100 times faster than containers. This advancement aims to support consumer-scale AI agents, enabling unlimited scalability and zero latency for on-demand code execution.
