Coyote vs. Acme film finally gets release
Ars Technica·
Warner Bros.' shelved film 'Coyote vs. Acme' is finally set for release by Ketchup Entertainment, complete with a new trailer. The animated/live-action movie, based on a New Yorker satire, follows Wile E. Coyote suing the ACME Corporation for faulty products. Despite being completed in 2023 and featuring stars like John Cena and Will Forte, Warner Bros. canceled its release for a tax write-off, sparking industry backlash. After being offered to other studios, the film was eventually sold for $50 million and is slated for an August 28, 2026 theatrical debut.
