Blackmagic Design has updated DaVinci Resolve 21, enhancing its capabilities to compete with Adobe's Lightroom and Photoshop. The new version introduces robust photo editing tools, including support for RAW files from major camera brands like Sony, Canon, Nikon, and Fujifilm. Additionally, Resolve 21 integrates AI-powered features designed to alter actor appearances, such as making them look younger or older. The software also boasts a new photo mode for organizing and rating extensive image collections, complemented by an AI search function for efficient subject identification, aiming to attract users from both photo editing and video editing software.
