Flipper unveils Linux networking gadget for hackers

Flipper Devices, known for its hacking tool Flipper Zero, has announced Flipper One, a new networking gadget capable of functioning as a Linux PC. This device expands on Flipper Zero's capabilities by focusing on network connectivity through Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6E, and potential 5G via an M.2 port. It features dual processors, including an RK3576 chip with an NPU for local AI model execution and a Raspberry Pi RP2350 microcontroller. The company is also developing a custom Linux-based OS, Flipper OS, to enhance user experience and software management. Flipper One aims to serve as a router, VPN gateway, or even a Linux desktop, with potential applications in offline AI tasks, and is expected to cost under $350.
