Framework Laptop 16 receives cosmetic and functional upgrades

Framework is enhancing its Laptop 16 with several updates, including a new, lower-cost Ryzen AI 340 CPU option and improved aesthetics. The laptop will now feature one-piece keyboard and haptic touchpad modules, offering a cleaner, more finished appearance compared to the previous multi-piece design. Additionally, Framework is introducing an OCuLink Dev Kit for enhanced external GPU support, providing a more direct PCIe connection. These upgrades aim to address user feedback and refine the overall user experience for the modular workstation.
