Google allows Gmail address changes

Google is introducing a new feature that permits users in the United States to alter their Gmail username. This significant change allows for greater flexibility in managing online identities. However, the company has implemented specific limitations to prevent misuse. Users will only be permitted to change their username once every twelve months. Furthermore, once a new email address is established, it cannot be deleted for the same twelve-month period, ensuring a degree of permanence for the chosen identifier.
