Google Cloud Unveils AI Agent Platform

Google Cloud Next '26 showcased significant advancements in AI, marking the beginning of the 'agentic era' where AI acts as an autonomous partner. The event introduced the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, offering tools to build, govern, and scale AI agents using models like Gemini 3.1 Pro and Anthropic's Claude Opus. Google also launched the Gemini Enterprise app for everyday work and new eighth-generation TPUs designed to power large-scale AI operations, alongside the Agentic Data Cloud for real-time data organization and enhanced security measures.
