The enhanced functionality is powered by Google's new Gemini 3.1 Flash Live audio and voice model, designed for more natural interactions. Users can access Search Live through the Google app by tapping the Live icon and asking questions aloud, with options to add visual context via their camera or explore web links for deeper information. This move aims to provide immediate help for tasks where typing is impractical.
