Google, FBI warn of in-person ransomware attacks

Google and the FBI have issued a joint warning about a ransomware group, known as Silent Ransom Group, that employs a novel tactic: sending operatives to victim organizations disguised as IT support personnel. Once inside, these fake technicians gain access to sensitive data using USB drives or remote access tools.
