Google launches enterprise AI agent building tool

Google has unveiled the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, a new tool for building and managing AI agents at scale, targeting IT and technical teams. This platform competes with similar offerings from Amazon and Microsoft. While AI agents are currently most advanced for technical tasks like coding, Google's platform aims to make them accessible for enterprise use, addressing security concerns. For business users, Google also introduced the Gemini Enterprise app, enabling tasks such as meeting scheduling and file editing. The platform supports Google's Gemini LLM and image generator, as well as Anthropic's Claude models.
