Ikea unveils unique inflatable chair design

Ikea is set to reveal a new experimental collection on May 13th, featuring an innovative inflatable chair. Unlike typical bulky inflatable furniture, this chair utilizes two fabric-wrapped air chambers supported by a steel frame, offering a more refined aesthetic. This marks Ikea's return to inflatable furniture design after earlier, less successful attempts in 2000 with the Rolig chair and Innerlig sofa, which suffered from durability issues. The new design aims to overcome past limitations and present a more appealing, modern option.
