Leidos and Analogic Form Security Tech Venture

Defense contractor Leidos Holdings is spinning off its security and industrial automation divisions to combine them with Analogic Corporation, a company focused on security imaging and detection. This strategic move will establish a new joint venture, pooling resources and expertise from both entities. Analogic, currently owned by investment firm Altaris, brings specialized technology in areas like airport baggage screening, complementing Leidos's existing security solutions.
