Lucid Bots raises $20M for window-washing drones

Lucid Bots, a startup specializing in window-washing drones, has secured $20 million in Series B funding. The company differentiates itself by focusing on practical, on-site performance rather than theoretical demonstrations, addressing the dangerous and labor-intensive nature of traditional window cleaning. This latest funding round, co-led by Cubit Capital and Idea Fund Partners, brings their total funding to $34 million. Lucid Bots plans to use the capital to expand its team and manufacturing capacity to meet increasing demand for its Sherpa drones and Lavo robots. The company has seen significant sales growth, approaching 1,000 units sold, and is exploring applications in adjacent areas like painting and waterproofing.
