Meta tracks employee computer activity for AI

Meta is now monitoring its US-based employees' computer activity to train its AI agents. The company has implemented a tool called Model Capability Initiative (MCI) that records mouse movements, clicks, keystrokes, and occasional screenshots within work-related applications and websites. This data will be utilized to enhance Meta's AI models, enabling them to better understand and automate human-like computer interactions and work tasks. Meta has stated that the collected data will not be used for employee performance evaluations, emphasizing its purpose solely for AI development and improvement.
