Microsoft unveils Surface RTX Spark Dev Box

Microsoft has introduced the Surface RTX Spark Dev Box, a compact PC designed specifically for developers. This new device is powered by Nvidia's Arm-based RTX Spark chips, similar to the recently announced Surface Laptop Ultra. It is engineered to handle demanding, sustained workloads and local artificial intelligence tasks efficiently. The Dev Box features a distinctive aluminum chassis resembling the top of an Xbox Series X, which also functions as a heatsink, providing a 100-watt thermal envelope. This offers more cooling capacity than typical laptops using the same chips, ensuring optimal performance for intensive development work.
