Ping An Insurance Uses AI for Claims

China's largest private insurer, Ping An, has significantly transformed its claims processing using artificial intelligence. Five years ago, human intervention was standard for nearly all accident and health insurance claims. Now, the company has automated approximately 60% of these processes, with some claims being settled in as little as 51 seconds. This AI-driven efficiency is unlocking substantial value, estimated at $174 billion, by streamlining operations and reducing processing times.
