Polish PM links crypto firm to Russia, rivals
The Block·
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has accused a cryptocurrency firm, Zondacrypto, of sponsoring political rivals and having ties to the Russian mafia and secret service. Tusk stated that this firm provided financial support to politicians and sponsored a CPAC event where a former U.S. Homeland Security Secretary spoke. These allegations surfaced during a parliamentary vote to override a presidential veto on legislation aimed at regulating Poland's cryptocurrency market, suggesting that some politicians have actively blocked such regulatory efforts.
