Raspberry Pi prices increase due to RAM shortage

Raspberry Pi is implementing significant price hikes across more than a dozen of its single-board computers, with the 16GB Raspberry Pi 5 model seeing a substantial $100 increase. This move is primarily attributed to the persistent global RAM shortage, which has already led to previous price adjustments in December and February. CEO Eben Upton assured that these price increases are temporary and will be reversed once supply chain conditions improve, aiming to mitigate the impact on consumers while navigating current market challenges.
