Reddit combats bots with human verification tools

Verification methods will include third-party tools like passkeys, biometrics, and potentially government IDs in certain regions. This initiative aims to increase transparency and preserve user anonymity while addressing issues like misinformation and spam. Reddit also continues its daily removal of approximately 100,000 bot accounts, enhancing its tooling to better identify and manage automated activity.
