Securitize adds former IMF representative to board

Securitize, a digital asset securities firm, has appointed Sunil Sabharwal to its board of directors. Sabharwal brings extensive experience, having served as a U.S. representative to the International Monetary Fund from 2016 to 2018 and receiving the U.S. Treasury's Distinguished Service Award. His appointment coincides with Securitize's ongoing efforts towards a public listing via a merger with Cantor Equity Partners II, Inc. Sabharwal's background also includes leadership roles at payment companies Earthport and Ogone, both of which were acquired by major financial institutions.
