Speechify Windows App Uses Local AI Models

Speechify has launched a native Windows application that leverages on-device AI models for transcription and dictation, enhancing user privacy and performance. This new app runs entirely locally on Copilot+ PCs and other Windows 11 machines with compatible GPUs, utilizing neural text-to-speech, voice activity detection, and Whisper-based transcription models. The company aims to make reading and writing more accessible across devices, with a particular focus on enterprise users. Speechify, which boasts over 50 million users, is expanding its voice AI capabilities beyond its traditional text-to-speech services.
