Truecaller Reaches 500 Million Monthly Users

Caller ID app Truecaller has surpassed 500 million monthly active users, with over 350 million in its primary market, India. The company added 50 million users in the past year, doubling its base in five years and now aiming for one billion users. Truecaller is expanding beyond basic caller identification, incorporating AI for call screening and scam detection, including monitoring for specific scam phrases. They also offer family group admin features to prevent scams.
