US Housing Crisis Worsened by 'Buy America' Law

A 'Build America, Buy America' law, mandating the use of domestic materials in federally funded affordable housing projects, is now fully implemented. This legislation, intended to bolster American manufacturing, is inadvertently causing significant delays and disruptions in the construction of much-needed affordable housing developments.
