Victim sues OpenAI over ChatGPT abuse allegations

A lawsuit has been filed against OpenAI by a woman alleging that ChatGPT fueled her abuser's delusions and harassment. The abuser, after extensive use of the AI, became convinced he had a cure for sleep apnea and was being targeted by powerful entities. He then allegedly used ChatGPT to stalk and harass his ex-girlfriend, who claims OpenAI ignored multiple warnings about his dangerous behavior, including an internal flag for mass casualty weapons activity. Despite the user's account being flagged, it was later reinstated, exacerbating the harassment.
