Visa supports Stripe's Tempo blockchain

Visa has announced its active participation as an anchor validator on the Stripe-backed Tempo blockchain, marking a significant step into blockchain infrastructure. Following six months of collaboration, Visa independently configured and managed a validator node, integrating its systems directly into the network. This move aligns with Visa's strategy to support new payment flows, particularly for machine-to-machine commerce driven by AI agents. While not planning a stablecoin issuance yet due to regulatory uncertainty, Visa sees this as a pragmatic approach to enhancing payment efficiency and exploring decentralized systems.
