Wikipedia bans AI-generated articles

Wikipedia has updated its guidelines to prohibit the creation or rewriting of articles using artificial intelligence. This decision stems from concerns that AI-generated content frequently violates the platform's core policies. While AI use for suggesting minor edits or translating articles is still permitted under strict conditions, the direct generation of new content by AI is now forbidden on the English version of Wikipedia.
