Audi reveals new Q9 flagship SUV interior
Ars Technica·
Audi is set to unveil its new flagship Q9 SUV, designed to compete with rivals like the BMW X7 and Mercedes-Benz GLS. The company has focused on American market tastes, even redesigning cupholders for larger insulated mugs. The interior features a blend of textures, moving away from glossy finishes towards matte surfaces, with options for open-grain olive wood or carbon fiber. Inspired by the Grandsphere concept, the dashboard integrates large curved displays for instrumentation and infotainment, complemented by an ambient light strip along the windshield. The vehicle also boasts a 4D Bang & Olufsen sound system and convenient features like wireless charging and ample USB-C ports.
