Cloudflare Network Exceeds 500 Tbps Capacity
Cloudflare Blog·
Cloudflare has surpassed 500 terabits per second (Tbps) of external network capacity, marking a significant milestone in its 16-year expansion. This capacity, representing total provisioned interconnection across over 330 cities, far exceeds daily peak traffic and serves as a buffer for DDoS attacks. The company detailed its growth from a single transit provider in 2010 to its current global infrastructure, which protects over 20% of the web. Cloudflare also highlighted its automated, server-level defense mechanisms capable of mitigating massive DDoS attacks without human intervention.
