Fathom launches bot-less meeting transcription

Fathom, an AI note-taking startup, has introduced a bot-less meeting mode to combat the issue of overcrowded virtual calls. This new feature allows the app to transcribe conversations without requiring a separate AI assistant to join each meeting. While similar tools exist, Fathom aims to differentiate by also enabling video recording and improving speaker diarization for clearer context. The update leverages recent AI advancements and offers enhanced querying capabilities for businesses. Fathom also plans an iOS app for recording in-person meetings, addressing user needs for more flexible and accurate meeting data capture.
