GitHub Copilot updates individual plan offerings

GitHub is updating its individual plans for Copilot, introducing new features based on user feedback. The Pro and Pro+ plans will now include a 'flex allotment' for increased usage at the same price. Additionally, a new 'Max' plan is being introduced for users with high-volume Copilot needs. These changes come as GitHub transitions to usage-based billing on June 1st. The updated lineup, including Free, Pro, Pro+, and Max, will feature usage-based billing across all tiers. Base credits will be consumed first, followed by the flex allotment, which applies automatically across IDE, github.com, and the CLI without manual management.
