Roblox introduces Kids, Select accounts

Roblox is rolling out new account types, 'Roblox Kids' and 'Roblox Select,' to provide age-appropriate access to games and chat features. Users aged five to nine will be placed in the 'Kids' account, while those aged nine to 15 will be in the 'Select' account. This move aims to enhance child safety on the platform, which has faced significant scrutiny and legal challenges regarding alleged issues.
