The hackers reportedly accessed Rockstar's data through Snowflake instances, utilizing Anodot, a cost-monitoring service, to gain entry. ShinyHunters has demanded a ransom by April 14th, threatening to leak the stolen information if their demands are not met. Despite the breach, Rockstar Games stated that the compromised data was limited in scope and asserted that the incident will have no impact on the company or its players.
