Webtoon adds AI localization for comics

Webtoon's Canvas platform is introducing AI-powered localization tools to assist creators in reaching a global audience. This new feature will enable artists to translate their comic scripts into multiple languages, including English, Spanish, French, and German, among others. The goal is to help creators monetize their work more effectively and expand their readership internationally. The platform is also rolling out other enhancements to support artists in building larger fan bases and understanding audience engagement. A beta version of the translation tool is currently available.
