Apple tests four smart glasses designs

Apple is reportedly testing four distinct designs for its upcoming smart glasses, slated for a potential 2027 release with an unveiling possibly by the end of this year. The designs range from large rectangular frames to smaller oval or circular ones, with color options like black, ocean blue, and light brown being considered. These glasses appear to be a more conservative approach compared to earlier, more ambitious AR/VR plans, positioning them closer to Meta's Ray-Ban offerings. They are expected to feature camera capabilities for photos and videos, call handling, music playback, and integration with an upgraded Siri, but will not include displays.
