New AI Framework Automates Optimization, Beats Humans

Researchers have developed ASI-EVOLVE, a novel AI framework designed to autonomously optimize the entire AI development pipeline, including training data, model architectures, and learning algorithms. This agentic system operates on a continuous 'learn-design-experiment-analyze' cycle, significantly reducing the manual engineering effort typically required in AI research. In experiments, ASI-EVOLVE discovered innovative solutions that outperformed human-designed baselines, improving language model performance by over 18 points on key benchmarks and designing novel neural architectures. The framework aims to accelerate AI innovation for enterprises by automating complex optimization processes and allowing AI systems to learn and improve cognition itself.
